Ticketing Policies & Guidelines
We cannot wait to welcome you to the Big Bear BBQ Festival Grill & Chill! Organizing a massive weekend of award-winning BBQ, live music, and family fun takes a year-round commitment and significant upfront investment. Because of this, we have established the following ticketing policies to ensure the festival runs smoothly for everyone.
By purchasing a ticket to the festival, you agree to the following terms:
All Sales Are Final All ticket sales are strictly final. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or returns under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, personal scheduling conflicts, illness, travel issues, or changes in personal circumstances.
Ticket Transfers:
While we cannot refund your ticket, we know that life happens! If you are unable to attend the festival, your tickets are fully transferable. You are welcome to gift or sell your digital ticket to a friend, family member, or another BBQ lover. Simply forward them your order confirmation email or the digital ticket PDF, and they can scan it at the gate.
Rain or Shine (Mountain Weather) The Big Bear BBQ Festival is a “Rain or Shine” event. Mountain weather in late May can occasionally be unpredictable, so we encourage all attendees to check the local Big Bear Lake forecast before heading up the mountain and dress accordingly. Tickets will not be refunded due to rain, wind, or other non-severe weather conditions.
Lineup & Event Changes Our festival features a wide variety of award-winning pitmasters, musical acts, and activities. Please note that the specific lineup, participating vendors, and scheduled activities are subject to change without notice due to unforeseen circumstances. A change in the lineup or the absence of a specific vendor does not constitute grounds for a refund.
Cancellations & Rescheduled Events. In the rare instance of extreme, dangerous weather that forces organizers or local authorities to cancel the event for safety reasons, or if the event is otherwise entirely canceled and not rescheduled, all ticket holders will be issued a full refund to their original payment method within 30 days of the announcement. If the event is postponed or rescheduled, your tickets will automatically be honored for the new dates.
